For prestige chefs in America, nothing is more notable than The Art of Cooking competition. A cumulative battle that calls upon the three most decorated chefs in each state to compete for an ultimate cash prize of $100,000 and recognition of being named “America’s Ultimate Dining Experience.”

For Iris Hammond, winning The Art of Cooking competition is all she’s ever wanted for her restaurant—The Sweet Red. In fact, this season, it’s almost as if she can feel her invitation in the palm of her hand. That is until her new not-so-friendly neighbor Dakota Foster, opens up his own restaurant—The Closed Cook, just two blocks ahead.

The two hardly exchange a “hello” before it’s decided that sworn-off enemies will be the only kind of relationship they’ll indulge in.
